Abstract
This research aims to know the influence of short-term debt and long-term debt to profitability as measured by
return on equity. Data were taken from the financial statements of companies that specifically focus on
telecommunication based cdma for periods 2007-2012.The regression technique was used to analyze panel data.
The result showed that short-term debt (t-calculate of 1,993991 0.05) had no
effect on ROE; long-term debt (t-calculate of -2,237747 0,05) had no effect
on ROE; and together total debt (short-term debt and long term debt) currently
